An England football fan received a racist note after he hung two St Georges flags in his shop during the World Cup.
Supporter Gagan was told he had chosen the wrong country’s flag to display because of the colour of his skin, in the letter he received just a day after stringing up the flags, Mirror reports.

The business owner said his father immediately went out to purchase four more flags in retaliation to display at GMS Heating & Plumbing in Ilford.
‘Have you forgotten your skin colour?’
The letter, which was littered with spelling and grammatical mistakes, read: “You are not from Indian? You have put wrong flag outside your shop when you have come from Indian have you forgot that your skin colour.
“You should now that you don’t forget your motherland country. Yes if you Indian.
“If National Front skin heads see this flag outside they will kick you back to Indian without your trousers on.
“You should always look at your background were you came from.”
A stupid mentality
Gagan said the family business had always hung St Georges flags for major sporting events, and had no plans to end the tradition because of the letter.
He said: “We’re just trying to have some fun and people want to ruin it by saying it shouldn’t be done. It should be done.
“I find this mentality really stupid to be honest – what we can’t support the country that we’re living in?
Gagan added: “Supporting England during the football is enjoyable and all part of the fun – and some people seem to think it is wrong for us to do because we are Indian?”
“Why spend your time writing a letter like this, it doesn’t make sense to me.”
