Qualification for Euro 2024 is coming to a close ahead of the tournament taking place in Germany next year.
It will have the same format as Euro 2020, with 24 teams battling for the trophy.
Italy are the reigning champions, having beaten England on penalties in a chaotic final at Wembley in July 2021.
Plenty of the favourites have already secured their place to challenge for that crown in 2024.
Which teams have qualified for Euro 2024?
Only one team qualifies automatically for Euro 2024 – hosts Germany. They will be hoping home advantage can help them to a fourth title. It is the first time the country has hosted a European Championship since reunification.
There are 10 qualifying groups for Euro 2024, with the top two teams from each group automatically going through to the final event.
Alongside this, three teams will qualify through the play-offs.
England qualified with a Jude Bellingham-inspired victory over Italy on 17 October, but Gareth Southgate immediately insisted the battle was only half-won.
“We need to make sure we are one of the top seeds next month,” he said. “We need to win our next two games. We want to be in control of that.
“We need to keep building. There is more to come from this team. This was the toughest qualifying group, with the seedings.
“People have criticised us for not beating the top teams enough. But we have performed really well.”
Belgium were the first team to make it through, winning five of their first six games.
Austria, coached by Ralf Rangnick, have also made it out of that group, which features Sweden, Azerbaijan and Estonia.
They are joined by World Cup runners-up France, who won all of their first six games to guarantee they will win Group B, which includes Greece, the Netherlands, the Republic of Ireland and Gibraltar.
Portugal, the winners in 2016, as well as Spain, Turkey and Scotland are guaranteed to be in the draw too for the competition proper.
Spain have won the Euros three times, including consecutive titles in 2008 and 2012.
Scotland received news of their qualification without kicking a ball – and with two games to spare – thanks to Norway’s 1-0 defeat to Spain. They have now reached back-to-back European Championships.
Turkey, meanwhile, cruised into the tournament with a 4-0 victory over Latvia. They failed to live up to their tag as dark horses at the last World Cup but do have form in Europe, making a surprise run all the way to the semi-finals in 2008.
