England’s Under-21 squad are heading to Slovakia to defend their title as Euros champions.
The nation secured victory in the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Georgia and will be hoping history can repeat itself two years on.
Young Lions head coach Lee Carsley has picked a football squad which includes two players who featured in the 2023 team: defender Charlie Cresswell and Liverpool forward Harvey Elliott.
They kick-off their campaign in the group stage against Czechia on Thursday at the Mol Arena before tackling Slovenia three days later on Sunday 15 June.

There are four groups in the Under-21 Euros:
- Group A – Spain, Italy, Romania, Slovakia
- Group B – Czechia, England, Germany, Slovenia
- Group C – France, Georgia, Poland, Portugal
- Group D – Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Ukraine

How can I watch the Under-21 Euros?
The Under-21 Euros will be shown live on Channel 4’s platforms, as the broadcaster has exclusive rights to tournament coverage – which is sponsored by the British Army.
All of England’s U21’s matches will be shown live on Channel 4, along with the quarter-finals and the final.
Viewers will also be able to stream the matches on Channel4.com.
Another 15 matches, encompassing the group stage games and semi-finals, will be broadcast live on 4Seven.
Channel 4 Sport’s YouTube channel will show clips of the games and highlights.
