The wait for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 is almost over with kick off for the opening match a matter of hours away.
Sixteen teams are competing in Switzerland throughout July for the prestigious trophy and the chance to be crowned European football champions.
England’s Lionesses go into the tournament as reigning champions but they face strong competition from Spain, as well as Germany and France.
Fans unable to make it out for the matches can still keep track on all the action with coverage of the event shared by the BBC and ITV from Wednesday 2 July to Sunday 27 July.
We take a look at who has been selected for the BBC’s team covering the tournament.
Who is presenting Euro 2025 on the BBC?
Former Women’s Euro 2022 champion Jill Scott will be joining the BBC’s presenting team for this event.
Dutch football coach and Arsenal manager Renee Slegers will also be in the line-up.
Seasoned sports broadcasters Gabby Logan, Alex Scott and Jeanatte Kwakye make up the rest of the team.
All three come from sporting backgrounds – Logan is a former rhythmic gymnast, Scott played football for England and Kwakye is a retired Olympic sprinter.
Jo Currie is on reporting duties for all the news from inside England camp, while Catrin Heledd and Alexandra Richards will bring the breaking news from the Wales camp.
