Euro 2020 is now upon us with a month of almost wall-to-wall football set to dominate television screens across the land.
Fans in the UK will be able to tune into all 51 games across the terrestrial channels, with ITV now having confirmed the line-up for their coverage.
Mark Pougatch and Seema Jaswal will be the main presenters, along with Reshmin Chowdhury, while Sam Matterface, Clive Tyldesley, Joe Speight, Seb Hutchinson and Tom Gayle will be on commentary. Former England, Scotland and Wales internationals Lee Dixon, Ally McCoist and John Hartson will also be on the microphones as co-commentators, while the coverage will also feature refereeing analysis from Peter Walton.
England are favourites to win the whole thing with a number of bookmakers and they are also being ranked as prime contenders by the pundits too.

“England should have designs on winning it and we shouldn’t be shy about it with the attacking quality we have,” Ian Wright told the launch of ITV’s Euro 2020 live coverage.
Gary Neville, likewise, believes that with more games being played at Wembley than any other stadium, the Three Lions have a massive advantage. “I’m going to go with England because of the home tournament [aspect],” he said.
“I think we will go a step further than the last World Cup where we got the semi-finals, I just think the momentum is with us. I do think we need to get Harry Maguire fit, keep Harry Kane fit, and then ultimately have little bit of good luck, and I think we can do it once and for all.”
Roy Keane is backing Italy as a dark horse based on “their form for the last year or two”, while Eni Aluko raised big question marks against some of England’s rivals, particularly Belgium.

“You look at Belgium, who are their best players, Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne?” she said. “Hazard’s barely played. Okay, Lukaku has won the league in Italy and De Bruyne in England but you look at those three players far more.”
For England, the big question is whether they want to top their group with a potential ‘Group of Death’ opponent waiting in the next round. The other ‘Home Nations’ will be focused first and foremost on qualifying for the knockout rounds – but Graeme Souness isn’t optimistic.
“I think England will make it out of the group stages, and they’ll go on to the semis,” Souness said. “Scotland COULD get out as well through third place, and I don’t back Wales considering their group.”
The pundits – who’s who
Ian Wright
Arsenal legend Wright won 33 caps for England and has become a staple of ITV’s tournament coverage, as well as appearing on Match of the Day.
Roy Keane
The former Manchester United midfielder has a regular spot on Sky Sports’ Super Sunday and will be on punditry duty having been Republic of Ireland assistant manager at the last Euros. The Boys in Green haven’t qualified this time, so at least he won’t be irked by their fans singing.
Gary Neville
At the last Euros – when England were knocked out in ignominy by Iceland – Neville was Roy Hodgson’s assistant manager. Since then, he’s been a regular co-commentator and pundit on Sky Sports.

Patrick Vieira
An ‘Invincible’ with Arsenal, Vieira won the Euros with France in 2000. More recently, he managed Nice before leaving the role in 2020.
Graeme Souness
Souness will be on hand for Scotland’s first major tournament since 1998, having himself played in three World Cups.
Ashley Cole
The most accomplished English left-back of a generation, Cole has said he plans to become a coach now that he’s retired but he has also been making steps into the studio.
Eni Aluko
Aluko made more than a century of appearances for England’s Lionesses and played at two European Championships.
Robert Earnshaw
Earnshaw played for Wales for a decade but didn’t make it to a major tournament.
Emma Hayes
The Chelsea manager guided the Blues to the Women’s Super League title as well as the Champions League final this season.

Nigel de Jong
Despite many international fans still recalling his infamous kick on Xabi Alonso in the World Cup final, De Jong will provide valuable insight on the Netherlands as they return to the big stage.
John Collins
A former Scotland international with 58 caps, Collins scored one of his country’s most famous goals in their opening match of the 1990 World Cup against Brazil.
Joe Ledley
Ledley is still playing for Newport County but he’ll be on hand to discuss Wales’ hopes under temporary boss Robert Page.
Nadia Nadim
The PSG striker finished as a runner-up with Denmark at the Women’s European Championship four years ago.
Scott Brown
Brown did not get the dream send-off to his Celtic career, but he will be on ITV’s sofa before taking up a new role as player-coach at Aberdeen in July.
Andros Townsend
Another current player, the Crystal Palace forward is backing England, Belgium and France. He last played for England in 2016.
