The Europa League is nearing its quarter-final stage where the competition will be whittled down to eight teams.
Two English sides, Arsenal and Chelsea, are still involved at the last 16 and will both feel confident of progression in their ties against Rennes and Dynamo Kiev.
Winners of the Europa League will automatically qualify for next season’s Champions League, a tantalising prospect, particularly for the English clubs where the race for a domestic fourth place is so competitive.
Teams progressing to the final eight will also discover their possible semi-final opponents as the road to May’s Baku final is fully mapped out during the upcoming draw at Uefa headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
