While rival supporters lamented Manchester United‘s propensity to win penalties last season, Fantasy Premier League managers in possession of Marcus Rashford or Bruno Fernandes were far less aggrieved.
Rashford was the top-scoring penalty taker in last season’s Premier League netting six of his spot kicks, while Fernandes converted all four of his efforts after arriving in January.
Penalty goals count exactly the same as non-penalty goals in Fantasy Premier League, yielding six points for defenders, five for midfielders and four for forwards.
