Euro 2020 fixtures: Last 16 TV schedule, live stream, dates and kick-off times

The group stages reached a dramatic apex in its final throes, the last 16 of Euro 2020 eventually decided on a tense night in Munich and Budapest.

France, Germany and Portugal have made it out of the “Group of Death” as expected, with Hungary exiting at the first hurdle, albeit with a more gallant effort than many would have predicted.

The trio will join two of the home nations, England and Wales, both of whom progressed with relative ease. The Three Lions topped their group by beating Croatia and Czech Republic. (The draw with Scotland is probably best forgotten and to be frank, it soon will be anyway.)

Wales, meanwhile, finished as runners-up in Group A behind a resurgent Italy. The Azzurri might look like the dark horses, but they aren’t the only ones with Frank de Boer’s Netherlands making light work of a relatively lightweight Group C.

The proof of their merits will be tested in the knockout stages, which begin on Saturday 26 June in Amsterdam as Wales face Denmark.

Italy will play Austria at Wembley Stadium simultaneously in a game from which Roberto Mancini’s side will be fully expected to progress.

It will not exactly be a fireworks finale to the last 16 – the last match will see Sweden take on Ukraine, but that should be one to keep an eye on for England (or Germany) fans, as the two winners of those ties will face each other next.

Highlights are also available each match day on ITV Hub and on BBC iPlayer.
