The 50 funniest Fantasy Premier League team names for 2024-25

Fantasy Premier League managers face a familiar conundrum following the relaunch of the game ahead of the 2024-25 season: what to name their team.

While it may seem a trivial task, it is worth giving it some thought considering your team name is going to outlast most if not all of your players over the next 10 months. Although you are able to change it after Gameweek 1 has started, it’s not something that you’ll want to fiddle about with. Save the chopping and changing for your midfielders and forwards instead.

It’s shaping up to be an intriguing campaign with FPL deciding to shake things up a bit compared to recent years.

Managers who err on the side of patience can bank up to five transfers if they keep the same squad for five consecutive gameweeks, compared to just two before.

Those saved transfers will also remain in place even if a manager uses their Wildcard or Free Hit having previously been reset to zero. And a new mystery chip will become active in January.

However, FPL stopped short of increasing the character count for team names which remains set at a stingy 20.

It is a tight limit that encourages managers to get creative. If you’re struggling to come up with a unique name, hopefully, the list below will give you some inspiration (or a copy and paste option).

If you’re fretting over your team name don’t worry as you can change it throughout the season if you have a change of heart. This handy guide will walk you through the steps.

Here are 50 names to consider including multiple options from each Premier League club:
