Who England will face in Euro 2024 semi-finals after beating Switzerland

England have beaten Switzerland to reach the semi-finals of Euro 2024 thanks to five perfect penalties.

They will now face the Netherlands in the final four for a place in Sunday’s final in Berlin.

Gareth Southgate’s side continue to rely on moments of brilliance, with their quarter-final equaliser coming through a Bukayo Saka stunner.

The Three Lions are into their third semi-final in four major tournaments under Southgate, a remarkable record which puts the previous 50 years to shame.

When is England’s semi-final?

England’s semi-final against X will take place in Dortmund’s Westfalenstadion on Wednesday 10 June at 8pm BST.

The match will be aired on ITV1 and ITVX, with coverage starting from 6.30pm.

Who could England play in the final?

England have ended up on the easier side of the draw by Fifa world rankings, avoiding Spain, France, Germany and Portugal up to this point.

But to be the best, you have to beat the best, and England will have to face the winner of the semi-final between Spain and France if they are to lift the Henri Delaunay trophy on Sunday evening in Berlin.
