i guides to the fantasy season
This year, we are aided in our line-up dilemmas by our colleague Finlay Greig who is creating some fantastic guides that I strongly recommend you read if you’re planning to set up a fantasy team.
Finlay’s work covers every aspect of the game; from inspiration to ensure your team name is the funniest and most original, to advice on which under-the-radar players to sign.

Once you’ve set up your team, if you would like to see how your managerial skills rate against the i sports desk, then we have set up a league you can join.
Additionally, we plan to run a regular column in the newspaper this season – updating you on injuries and emerging star players – and we’ve also set up a Facebook group where readers can swap tricks and tactics throughout the campaign. Please join us.
Join i’s league on the official Fantasy Premier League game to pit your wits against fellow readers – and our hapless sports desk team. Code: 1284313-292880
