Steven Gerrard’s managerial career is in ruins as he leaves Al-Ettifaq five points above the Saudi Pro League relegation zone.
Gerrard has reportedly asked to leave the Dammam club after 18 months in charge, with an announcement expected imminently.
Although Ettifaq finished sixth last season they have slipped to 12th in 2024-25, having scored just 19 goals in 17 matches.
