Jordan Pickford was England‘s hero as the Three Lions beat Colombia on penalties to reach the World Cup quarter-finals.
The Everton goalkeeper saved brilliantly from Carlos Bacca, allowing Eric Dier to step up and slot home the winning penalty, setting up a game with Sweden on Saturday.
Pickford had earlier made one of the saves of the tournament from Mateus Uribe to keep England 1-0 up, before Yerry Mina made it 1-1 deep into added time.

But it was England who emerged victorious in the shootout – for the first time ever in a World Cup.
