FA Cup 5th round draw in full as Chelsea host Leeds and Man Utd face Forest

Chelsea and Nottingham Forest will face Leeds and Manchester United respectively after becoming the final two teams to book their place in the FA Cup fifth round.

Newcastle United travel to Blackburn Rovers, Liverpool host Southampton and holders Manchester City take on Luton Town away.

Sixth-tier Maidstone United were the big surprise winners in the fourth round, stunning Championship high-flyers Ipswich Town with a historic 2-1 victory at Portman Road, and they will face Coventry City next.

“This is for our community, Maidstone,” manager George Elokobi said. “We have to believe… The magic of the FA Cup is very much alive.”

The Stones, who took over 4,000 travelling fans to Suffolk, had a starring performance from Brazilian goalkeeper Lucas Covolan to thank, with Ipswich registering 38 attempts, 13 shots on target and 78 per cent possession. Maidstone managed just two shots on target but scored both.

Elsewhere in the fifth round, Bournemouth will face Leicester and Wolves will. host Brighton

Fifth-round ties will take place between Monday 26 and Wednesday 28 February with all eight games shown on BBC or ITV.

How the 4th round played out

Newcastle beat Fulham 2-0 in their fourth-round tie, while City were the first team into the hat after beating Spurs 1-0, courtesy of Nathan Ake’s late goal to secure their first ever victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

There was nothing to separate Chelsea and Aston Villa, who played out a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge before Mauricio Pochettino’s side earned one of their best wins of the season with 3-1 victory at Villa Park.

Manchester United survived a scare against Newport County, while Leeds, Coventry and Southampton all needed replays to reach the last 16.
