Marco Silva‘s faltering Everton side will seek to get back on the horse this weekend with a Premier League home game against Manchester United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s men are beset by their own struggles having exited the Champions League and endured a poor run of form. The Norwegian has challenged players within his squad to raise their game this week, acknowledging the crucial nature of the run-in to their European hopes for next season.

The Toffees had enjoyed a run of strong form in the league – but a loss to an already-relegated Fulham side has but a dent in their mood.
Their hopes of a home win on Sunday will also be dampened by the knowledge they have lost the last three times they have played the Red Devils in the league.

For the hosts, Yerry Mina is the only player unavailable due to injury, however Andre Gomes will miss the Toffees’ next three matches due to a ban. He accepted an FA charge of violent conduct after an ugly challenge on Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Manchester United have some good news – Alexis Sanchez and Nemanja Matic are available for selection, thanks to their recoveries from injuries. However, Luke Shaw will be completing his two match ban and will therefore be unavailable meaning Ashley Young is set to continue at left-back.
Eric Bailly is a doubt due to his recovery from concussion. Solskjaer said this week: “Eric will be back in training over the weekend.”
Ander Herrera will have a late fitness test for the match. “Ander is back in training. He’s been working really hard,” Solskjaer added.
Expected line-ups
Everton (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Zouma, Digne; Gueye, Davies; Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard; Calvert-Lewin
Manchester United (4-3-3): De Gea; Dalot, Smalling, Lindelof, Young; Matic, Fred, Pogba; Rashford, Lukaku, Sanchez
