Manchester City‘s hopes of a domestic treble took a double blow on Saturday thanks to injuries for Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero in their Premier League match against Tottenham.
De Bruyne was the first to go off in the first-half after jarring his knee when shooting from the edge of the box while Aguero was forced to go off in the second-half after twisting his ankle.

While Pep Guardiola’s side have coped without De Bruyne for large parts of the season, Aguero would be a huge miss if he were to sit out the run-in as they seek to add Premier League and FA Cup trophies to the Carabao Cup.
How bad is Aguero’s injury?
Unlike De Bruyne’s substitution, Aguero’s exit appeared to be more precautionary than forced.
The Argentine forward went over his ankle while under pressure from Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen and spent a minute or so on the turf as he dealt with the pain.
However, he got up and played on for another five to 10 minutes before being replaced by Leroy Sane just after the hour mark.
City face cross-town rivals Manchester United on Wednesday night before travelling to Burnley next weekend.
