Bruno Fernandes has avoided serious injury after being involved in a car accident on Monday morning.
The Manchester United midfielder reportedly still attended training at Carrington ahead of their Premier League match against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday night.
Fernandes had been driving a Porsche Panamera and was pictured unhurt at the side of the road.
Ralf Rangnick is likely to provide a further update on whether Fernandes will face Liverpool in Monday afternoon’s press conference.
The 27-year-old played 90 minutes of Saturday’s 3-2 win over Norwich City at Old Trafford.
Rangnick could have a number of other injury worries, with Fred and Scott McTominay both ruled out as they prepare to face a Liverpool side hunting a quadruple and buoyed by victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final.
“They are good, they are extremely good,” Rangnick said of Liverpool.
“It’s no coincidence that they’re as good as they are. Jurgen has built that team over the last six-and-a-half years. Six or seven of those players used to be my/our players when we signed them for our clubs when nobody knew them.
