One of football’s most eagerly anticipated draws takes place on Monday evening – the third round of the FA Cup.
Premier League and Championship clubs enter the draw at this stage, joining the lower-league outfits who progressed from the second round on the weekend.
As ever, football supporters will want to take note of their ball number for the upcoming draw, and the full list can be found below, with holders Leicester No 22 and National League North side Kidderminster Harriers, the lowest-ranked side definitely into the third round, No 59.
The draw takes place just before two non-league teams face off, with National League side Boreham Wood taking on St Albans City, who play in the National League South.
Yeovil Town and Chesterfield complete the list of five non-league sides in the draw. National League leaders Chesterfield beat Salford City 2-0 on Sunday to reach the third round, while Yeovil overcame Stevenage 1-0.
How to watch the FA Cup third round draw
The draw will start at 7pm GMT and will be live on ITV4, with the channel also showing the match between Boreham Wood and St Albans City afterwards.
The FA Cup’s Twitter and Facebook channels will also stream the draw, and it will also be on the BBC Sport website and app, as well as on the radio on BBC Radio 5 Live.
When is the FA Cup third round?
The fixtures will take place from 7 to 10 January, with at least one tie typically chosen for television coverage on both the Friday and Monday.
